The Last Ship
TNT, 9 ET/PT
The Last Ship sails back to TV screens with a two-hour fourth-season premiere. The post-apocalyptic drama, already renewed for a fifth season, follows the crew of a naval ship after a deadly virus devastates the planet. The premiere episode picks up 16 months after the heroes successfully stopped a coup in the resurrected America. But they are still seeking their stalwart leader, Tom Chandler (Eric Dane).
Showtime, 10 ET/PT
The Matt LeBlanc comedy is back for its fifth and final season after a 2 ½-year break. When the series, which pokes fun at the inner workings of Hollywood, returns, several months have passed. The game show that Matt hosts is a runaway hit, but he’s not particularly happy about that. Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Greig) are also less than enthused that Sean’s horrid ex-partner has the reigns of their new series.
PBS, 9 ET/PT (times may vary)
The British series follows Endeavour Mors (Shaun Evans) a young police constable on the beat in Oxford with DI Fred Thursday (Roger Allam). The fourth season is set just two weeks after the Season 3 finale, and Endeavor is on the hunt for a serial killer.
