Tune-in: A&E airs Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G on Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The three-hour biography includes archival footage and audio tapes of the late Christopher Wallace as well as interviews with those who were close to him, including his mother, Voletta Wallace, his widow, Faith Evans, and fellow artists Sean “Diddy” Combs, Nas and Jay-Z.

DVD/BLU-RAY

View: Rough Night, starring Scarlett Johansson, Zoë Kravitz, Kate McKinnon, Ilana Glazer and Jillian Bell as a group of friends whose bachelorette party goes awry, comes out Tuesday.

POP CULTURE

Read: Jack Kerouac’s seminal work On the Road celebrates its 60th anniversary Tuesday. The novel is based on the travels of Kerouac and his friends in the 1950s and provided inspiration for a generation of artists including Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison and Hunter S. Thompson. 

MUSIC

See: Janet Jackson kicks off the North American leg of her State of the World Tour in Lafayette, La., on Thursday. The 56-city tour will include stops in Dallas, Seattle, Kansas City, Boston and Atlanta.

FILM                               

Go-to: It, based on the horror novel by Stephen King, opens nationwide Friday. The film features the terrifying Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård), who lurks in the sewers of Derry, Maine, and returns to haunt the town and its children every 30 years.
